My Story

Hey, welcome to my page! I’m Selina, a Personal Trainer born and raised in Belsize Park, London.

WHO AM I?

As you can tell from my business name, fitness has always been therapeutic for me. As a teenager, I was always the girl faking sick notes to get out of sports, never having an outlet for my pent up anxiety. However, once I progressed into adulthood, I dove head first into exercise and discovered the incredible mental support and clarity it helped me unlock.

I’ve explored a few different career paths so far - from psychology, to translation, to finally discovering my true calling as a Personal Trainer in my late 20s!

HOW DO I WORK?

Personal training is exactly that, personal. However, many trainers offer this standard nowadays. What I truly bring to the table, is my empathetic and caring nature. I like to make my clients feel as though they are working out with a friend, simply with more structure and guidance.

Gyms and programmes can seem daunting and overwhelming (“where do I even start?” ). These thoughts, combined with how hard it is to actually change your behaviour and routine, make PTs essential for that extra boost of motivation needed.

I’m here to help you embrace exercise as a privilege, rather than a chore. With my knowledge and expertise, we can work towards your goals collaboratively, with reassurance and enjoyment along the way!

Unlike most trainers, I focus on the importance not only of physical, but mental health, as the two are deeply interconnected. My holistic approach centres around positive wellbeing - plenty of movement, balanced nutrition, good sleep, and a strong support system.

In my free time, I love to run, swim, dance and watch great movies. A few fun facts about me - I speak three languages, I am currently training for a half marathon and I am a master ping pong player…

My Services

To really see a change in your body, you need to be training consistently for 6 to 12 weeks to allow the body cells and muscles to adapt, which is why I offer 6 or 12 week packages.

Training with a friend or partner (£70 per session) is available in both the 6 or 12 week packages.​

PLEASE NOTE:

  • A free consultation is provided before you start training to assess your goals, fitness levels, exercise history and dietary analysis.​

  • You can pay for the first training session to see how the session works for you before committing to a block of sessions.

Online training is also available - pricing provided upon request.
